What is Staggercat Sound?
Staggercat Sound is the name of the DIY project studio located in Grand Rapids Michigan that produces the Leopold & Co project. At this time, Staggercat Sound is not taking on additional projects, but if you think you’ve got something special and you’d like to participate in the Leopold & Co project, drop them a line.

Digital Tools
Staggercat Sound produces music using a toolbox comprised of not only traditional electric and acoustic instruments recorded with live microphones but the latest in digital music production tools. A significant portion of productions utilize state-of-the-art “in the box” solutions for a wide range of acoustic, electric and digital sounds.

Acoustic & Electric Instruments
Staggercat Sound also employs the use of acoustic and electric instruments in productions. These range from brass to guitars to harmonicas to latin percussion elements. We can take recordings of instruments from non FS sessions and blend them seamlessly with in-the-box and live recorded instruments

Live Recording
Vocals and other live recordings are a vital part of many productions. Staggercat Sound is capable of scratch vocal recording and depending on aesthetic needs, final track recording of acoustic sources. These capabilities are constantly improving, so check back soon for more.
